In 2003, Taobao.com (淘宝) -- an online shopping (OS) platform which completely changed the traditional shopping way of Chinese people in the following ten years -- emerged on the internet.

Several years later, its two powerful competitors -- JD.com (京东) and Pinduoduo.com (拼多多) also emerged one after another. Today, the three giants largely monopolized China's OS market.

There are innumerable counterfeit or shoddy products with unbelievable low prices in Pinduoduo, but the poor like them. Taobao is relatively better, and JD is relatively best.

My personal experience is: to buy small (inexpensive) goods, such as an electric shaver, go to Pinduoduo or Taobao; to buy large (expensive) goods, such as a refrigerator, go to JD.
